1. Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil – Sample Size. Full Size RRP £16.50

That’s excellent blend of rosehip oil is a perfect treatment for dry skin to add some extra nourishment. Even though I have an oily skin this oil doesn’t make my skin feel even oilier. I think it’s better to use this oil after face masks, to complete the treatment or to add few drops into your normal day or night cream. The full-size is not cheap, but it should lasts ages, my sample contains only 2.5ml, but even after 4 uses there is still some oil left.

Ilsci Organics Gel Mask

2. Ilsci Organics Gel Mask – Sample size. Full size RRP from £39.95

I love masks and I like receiving them in my beauty boxes. I was so excited to try this one, as it’s a completely new brand to me and I never heard of it or tried anything from Ilsci Organics range. The first thing that surprised me was a jam-like consistency and that it smelled like a jam, too. After the first use I noticed that it tightened my pores a bit and made the complexion more brighter and tone more even. However, when I decided to buy a full-size jar and after 20 minutes of searching – I couldn’t find any single website where this true magic in a little jar would be in stock.  A product you will need to fight for.

3. Eyeko Fat Stick - Full Size RRP £8.00

3. Eyeko Fat Stick – Full Size RRP £8.00

This crayon is exclusive to Birchbox only and I was happy to receive it, as I already own a couple of Eyeko products and I know how good is the quality of their products. I use this crayon for the smokey-eyes and I find it very pigmented and easy to blend, it has very dark and bright finish and even though I don’t like sparking eyeshadows/crayons/eye pencils – the shimmer is not too visible.

To create the perfect smokey-eyes shade all over your lid, blending with finger to soften. Then draw a line along the lashline and buff with a blending eyeshadow brush (I use Real Technique one) for more intensity and depth. To finish the look, smudge beneath the lower lashes. You might want to add layer of mascara and kohl on the inner rims of the eyes to make the look even more darker and deeper.

4. Electric Hair Hydrate Shampoo – Sample Size 30ml. Full Size RRP £17.50

4. Electric Hair Hydrate Shampoo – Sample Size 30ml. Full Size RRP £17.50

The brand Electric Hair is a new discovery for me and is a British brand taking the haircare world by storm and was founded by Mark Woolley.

The Hydrate Shampoo which was a finalist at the hair awards in 2013 is a nourishing, creamy formula packed with moisture-rich ingredients which retains optimum hydration in your hair and intensifies its natural shine.

Winter really sucks the life out of my hair making it dry and unmanageable at times and this sounds amazing for giving your hair an extra boost of moisture.

5. Benefit Christmas Cracker containing High Beam – Sample Size. Full Size RRP £19.50

5. Benefit Christmas Cracker containing High Beam – Sample Size. Full Size RRP £19.50

I already own Benefit High Beam, as it’s one of the most popular highlighters in the market. I think it’s a great product, but you need to be very careful when applying it one your cheekbones, as you really need just one drop, but as it is very liquid – it’s easy to apply too much.  Apart from cheekbones, you can also use it for arching brows, opening up eyes and plumping up lips.
