Look Fantastic Beauty Box Review | February 2016

Hello everyone!

I hope you all had an amazing Valentine’s Day and spent it with someone you love, even if this someone is you.

The theme of February Look Fantastic box couldn’t be any different – it’s all about love, and about everything that we, girls, adore. Apart from all of the great products, it also contains a month’s extra, which is a mini copy of Elle magazine. I’m a subscriber of this magazine for more than a year now, and it’s definitely one of my favourites (others magazines I love are Porter Magazine & Esquire Russia).

This box literally contains everything you will need to make yourself happy and beautiful this month. I already fell in love with a couple of products, but I won’t be spoiling it. Click on ‘Continue Reading’ to see my full review on this month’s Beauty Box.

1. Bliss Pink Grapefruit & Aloe Body Butter | Travel Size | RRP £22

1. Bliss Pink Grapefruit & Aloe Body Butter | Travel Size | RRP £22

Scented with an uplifting blend of sweet, sparkling, sun-kissed pink grapefruit and fresh, crisp aloe, this smells divine and is so full of energy. Used in every massage at Bliss Spas, this famous formula promises to leave even the scaliest skin soft, supple and gleaming.

The smell is definitely something I fell in love with very quick. The formula is quickly absorbed into skin and doesn’t leave any greasiness after.

This is my second mini bottle of this oil. To be honest, I didn’t find an optimal way to use it, since it’s too oily for me to use as an everyday moisturiser for my skin and I’m not that into massages at home to use it as a part of this treatment.

However, I found it great as a moisturiser for my feet, especially after all these cold winter days. I usually apply it on my feet before I go to bed and  wear warm socks – the skin literally transforms after you leave this oil overnight.

KMS California is the brand that I was introduced to by a number of beauty boxes more than a year ago and I’m still falling in love with more of their products. This conditioner is 100% one of the best conditioners for coloured hair.

This creamy conditioner keeps your hair tangle free and in top condition and has combination of lilac and ginger, which helps to calm your scalp and assists in gently cleansing your hair, while protecting from UV rays. It has IOPS, inside out perfecting system, which penetrates deep into your hair, making it more vibrant and healthier.

It’s a shame that Look Fantastic team didn’t include a shampoo either, this way I would be able to review the twin-set, and as we all know – the products from one line and by one brand work better when used together.

4. Hi Impact Brows Eyes and Brow Perfector Palette – RRP £15.99

4. Hi Impact Brows Eyes and Brow Perfector Palette – RRP £15.99

As a huge fan of highly-defined eyebrows, I was surprised with the quality of this palette. The powder is long-lasting and you will definitely find a colour that will suit your skin and hair colour. The brush, which is attached, is not the easiest one to use, but if you would change it with the one that you can comfortably draw with, it will be one of the best purchases you could ever make for your brows. The best thing about these shadows is that you can also use it for the eyes to achieve any kind of a smokey eye look.

However, it would not be easy to find it online.

This brush was a little disappointment for me, since it won’t make any sense for me to carry it around, considering how thick my hair are. I would rather receive a sample of a make-up or skincare product instead of this.

The pencil is creamy and pigmented, glides on smoothly and is very moisturising. It’s a lovely deep nude that’s great for day wear. It somehow reminds me of infamous Nars Matte Pencils, that I deeply love, but the texture of Lord&Berry one is not that drying and long-lasting. However, I don’t have any issues with re-applying my lip pencil during the day, since it’s gentle on my lips and not drying them out completely.
