MONU Skincare

I have been a fan of MONU skincare since first trying their ‘Illuminating Primer‘ some months ago, and so I had fairly high hopes for this selection of products. I tried out and reviewed the recovery balm and hydrating mask below:

It is always hard for me to choose the right night cream, as I’ve got combination skin and most of the creams make some parts of my face more oily, while leaving the other part dried out. This balm is a problem-solver for me, the texture is very smooth, scent is not sharp and it absorbs in a few seconds.

This balm contains peptides to reduce redness and relieve irritations. Evening Primrose and Blackcurrant Seed oil will leave skin feeling balanced and throughly hydrated. And a very pleasant bonus – it’s Paraben Free.

Say hello to super soft, moisturised skin with the MONU Hydrating Mask. I am an absolute fan of  this facial mask, as this is the only product after which you can see an immediate result.  This mask contains Kaolin Clay, so apart from perfectly hydrating the skin, it also calms any irritations you might have. Evening Primrose and Apricot Kernel oils with essential fatty acids help maintaining suppleness and elasticity. Application is very easy and the mask smells amazing, left my sking feeling smooth and nourished, just like after some expensive facial treatment. Only downside was the very hard to read light print on the packaging.

Overall I’m impressed with Monu Skincare range, and am keen to try the other products (in particular the Aromatic Mask and Purifying Facial Wash)
If you’ve tried any of these products please let me know what you think!
