Suede Coat

Coat: Zara | Pants: Zara | Shoes: Ego | Bag: Chloe | T-shirt: Zara | Earring: Cornelia Webb

As the crisp, earthy autumn air moves in on our summer days we feel overtaken by nostalgia. From first days of school to the many festivals that the season brings, fall is full of special moments. I love fall for the opportunity to show off those soft suedes, gold tones and many layers of fall. So, let go of the beach days and bonfire nights of summer and turn your closet into a heaven for vintage-inspired pieces, powerful reds and retro plaids.

There are only two fabrics to contemplate adding to your wardrobe this season and that’s suede and vinyl. These two are the great tribute to the style of 70s. The thing is to make sure you have at least one other fabric element in the equation so that you don’t look like your official sponsor is suede or vinyl.

My first fall crush is this lilac coat from Zara, this shade of suede (it’s fake of course, but looks really realistic) looks very soft and romantic and it will bring a spring feel to every look. It worked very well combined with my favourite Gucci-inspired mules from Ego, you won’t believe, but they now cost £9.99 and this is officially the most comfortable mules I’ve ever owned.
