There are two groups of women: the ones that are obsessed with leopard print and those who criticises that first group. I was never obsessed with leopard or any other animalistic prints; I only love them when they more resemble graphic illustration. However, this is season leopard is not even the ruler of the fashion jungle because there is a print that is much classier and more unique: zebra.
I adore everything monochrome, and as you already know, you will rarely find more than four different colours in my outfits, this is exactly why I love zebra print. In my opinion, it’s so versatile, bright and it’s a perfect addition to any day or evening look. Of course, there are some occasions when even that gorgeous print looks cheap, let us just sit in the time machine and get us back to the times when Victoria Beckham was rocking that ‘footballers-wife’ look in a super mini zebra dress – this is the perfect example how you should not wear this print. Never. Ever.
This season, zebra accessories are the hottest: bags, belts, shoes – those will be a perfect addition to any conservative woman’s wardrobe. I stopped my choice on the prettiest Love Bag by Pinko; it features a classic shape, zebra print and cute silver details. In this look, I’ve decided to pair it with the most comfortable heeled shoes ever: mirrored ankle boots from Topshop. Those accessories helped me to level up my very-business black&white look.
Below you will find my favourite zebra-printed finds.
