Elemis Pamper Session & #LFBlooms Box

Hello lovely people,

How are you spending your Sunday?

The week was really busy for me, as I had to attend couple of events and I have so many projects going on at the moment, that I really need to work hard to be able to complete them all on time. Moving to London really opened much more opportunities for me as a blogger, such as working with the brands that aren’t really present in Manchester. I enjoy every moment of living in this city of dreams and it really inspires me to achieve more, than I ever wanted or thought I could achieve.

One of the major positive news: I am now an official Beauty Ambassador of Look Fantastic. This is truly exciting for me, as I was a fan of the brand for so long and even started my blog by reviewing their boxes, that I still love and receive on the monthly basis. Thanks to them I found out so many great brands and products that now I can’t imagine my life without. One of this brands is Elemis.

I remember when I received their Papaya Enzyme Peel sample and was absolutely blown away with the fragrance and the immediate improvement it gave to my skin, it’s still one of my most favourite exfoliators ever. So, when I received an invitation to try out one of their treatments in The House of Elemis, I agreed without any second thought.

In this post I want to tell you about my experience at The House Of Elemis and contents of my April Look Fantastic beauty box #LFBlooms.

The House of Elemis is a fantastic salon located in one of the prettiest areas or Mayfair – Lancashire Court. There are several standard Treatment Rooms and a luxurious Penthouse available for the private hire – I was lucky enough to have my treatment there. I was surprised how old-fashioned the salon looked from the outside and how innovative and high-tec it is inside.

Before the treatment I had to fill in the form where I had to point out any concerns I currently have about my skin, what medicaments I take on a regular basis and my personal details. On the ground floor I’ve also noticed an interesting stand called Skin Lab, I asked one of the girls to explain what it is and she told me that this device is used in order to analyse your skin. Basically, it will take a photo of your skin in a very high resolution and the  device will analyse all of the areas in order to identify the deepest pores, wrinkles, dry areas, oily areas – basing on the data that is received after this analysis, therapist will recommend the most suitable treatment and will explain what do you need to change in your daily skin routine in order to get rid of these imperfections.

When the time of my appointment came, I’ve been invited to The Penthouse, which is one of the pretties treatment rooms I’ve ever seen. You truly feel yourself like a celebrity, as the room has everything you need – from the crispy white robes, heated bed and fresh blooms, to private bathroom and your own Skin Lab. There are two treatment areas and this VIP room is super private, so it’s just perfect for couples.

After my skin was analysed at The Skin Lab, my therapist Chloe recommended me to have a treatment called BIOTEC Radiance Renew. BIOTEC facial treatments are where ground-breaking technology meets active ingredients and transformative touch. The pioneering innovation of the BIOTEC machine works to switch the skin back on, increasing its natural cellular energy.

My treatment “Radiance Renew” is considered as an antidote for dull and tired skin.  The ultrasonic peel pumps vibrational energy into the skin to exfoliate and stimulate the removal of impurities and dead skin cells, while the Galvanic rejuvenating current harnesses the power of Elderberry and Orange ower extracts to restore moisture and vitality. Skin is left profoundly reinvigorated. Instantly clearer, visibly brighter and radiant.

Treatment lasted about an hour and I literally was in my own paradise every minute of it – it was absolutely not painful, just a pure relaxation and amazing aromas of the creams, exfoliators and masks. My skin was really shinning right after the treatment I really can’t wait to get back and finish the course of BIOTEC, as it’s probably the best facial treatment I ever had.

The process of the treatment included the following steps: cleanse, tone, then the therapist used the sonic peel for exfoliation, amino active mask with scalp massage + soothing gel mask with Galvanic rollers to rebalance the skin, finishing with hydra boost & illuminating fresh balm.

After the treatment I got to try one of their famous detox juices, which was a really perfect final touch to the whole experience.

Paraben-free and packed with natural ingredients body polish by Balance Me. I’m currently using one that I got in other Look Fantastic box, but it was nice to see it again. I adore it’s pretty strong lavender smell that wakes you up instantly, if you use this cream in the mornings. The scrub is quite abrasive, so I wouldn’t use it on my face, but for the body – it’s  just perfect.

A fresh, fragrant moisturiser created specifically to prolong the life of your tan. The conditioning properties of Coconut Oil and Sunflower oil will keep the skin supple whilst Seaweed helps to re-mineralise the skin, Hyaluronic Acid has been added to increase hydration levels and Carrot Oil will fight against cellular damage caused by the sun. This luxurious, light and non-greasy product works at slowing down natural exfoliation.

I was excited to see Rituals in this month’s box. The brand only recently has been launched on Look Fantastic, and I was waiting to receive some of their products, as I never tried Rituals before.

Restore the skin’s elasticity and moisture balance with the Miracle Scrub Hand Scrub from Rituals. The ultra-softening hand scrub is fast absorbing into the skin for instant results. Enriched with nourishing oils, the hand exfoliator restores suppleness, while Ginseng and Gingko Biloba, which stands for life and strength, infuse revitalising properties.

Free from parabens, sulfates and synthetic fragrance, this shower gel will leave your skin feeling beautiful and looking healthy. Infused with organic cucumber extracts and Vitamin E, the gel will nourish your skin and wash away dirt, oil and impurities.

Harnessing the powerful ingredients grown in the countryside, the formula is infused with a blend of lavender, geranium, chamomile and palmarosa to calm and soothe over-worked hands.

A dose of burdock extract is combined with moabi butter and UK organic oat to replenish moisture and rejuvenate hands, whilst strengthening brittle nails and conditioning cuticles. Skin will be left smooth, comfortable and velvety soft with a delicate fragrance. Fast-absorbing and non-greasy.

Infused with Argan, Avocado, Resehip and Sweet Almond Oils, alongside Vitamins A, B5, D and E, this mask from organic brand Briogeo will leave your hair feeling super soft and replenished. The unique blend of ingredients promotes healthy looking hair and shine, improves it’s elasticity and strength while giving you revitalised and more radiant hair.

I really hope this post has been useful for you 🙂

Have a great weekend everyone! – Lolita xx
