In this post I wanted to introduce you to one of my the most beloved French skincare brand ‘Embryolisse‘. This brand is adored by many professional make-up artists and skincare products addicts, as almost all of their products are pure magic.
In 1950, a dermatologist at a hospital in Paris specialising in skin pathologies created Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentrate. This cream was quickly taken up by the medical profession because of its amazing effectiveness, and passed on from generation to generation – 60 years later it’s now a legend, with millions of devotes all over the world.
It has formed the basis for full range of dermo-cosmetic care products developed by Labarotories Embyolisse using the same philosophy – providing the skin with its essential requirements – and maintaining the same demands in terms of effectiveness and tolerance.

1. Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré Nourishing Moisturiser. 30 ml. £13 | BUY HERE |
The first Embryolisse product I’ve ever tried appeared to be one the most popular moisturisers in the world – Lait Creme Concentre. Everyone who has even seen photos from fashion weeks backstage, could spotted this little miracle standing on the make-up tables. It’s a favourite product of a number of celebrities, including gorgeous Jane Birkin and Gwynneth Paltro. Some people use it as a primer, as it perfectly evens the skin tone and even hiding some impurities, such as redness or rash, so by the time of applying BB/CC/Foundations you have less things to cover. Some people mix it with their foundations in order to get this ‘glowing skin’ effect, which is perfect for nude make-up and for colder months, when our skin need even more moisturising, than ever. There is no need to add it to your daily skincare routine, but this thing could be lifesaver, when your skin is dull and dry, as it will bring it back to life after just one use. I bought my 2nd tube recently, and even though the price might seem biting, you only need couple of drops for your face and neck, so 30ml tube will last for 4-5 months.

After I was totally amazed with how good Lait-Creme Concentrate is, I decided to try Embryolisee Hydra-Mask. I love moisturising masks, as they are the ones I can use daily and nothing feels better than a fresh, radiant face after a facial mask. This mask is my life-saver after the flights, as my skin tends to over-dry during and after the flight, so the only thing I do after getting off the plane – moisturising, moisturising, moisturising. Embryolisse Hydra-Mask is suitable for ALL skin types, so in this case it doesn’t matter if your skin is dry or oily – it will fit you. It’s packed with many active ingredients, such as Hyaluronic acid, natural Sesame & Sweet Almond plant oils, and vitamins (A, E and F) that help to regenerate the skin’s barrier, smooth the skin, and ensure an optimal level of moisturising. The mask almost doesn’t have a smell and the texture is really creamy and it feels great on the skin. This is another product by Embryolisse that I definitely will be re-purchasing.
3. Embryolisse Hydra-Mat Emulsion* 40ml. £23 |BUY HERE|
This product I got to test only recently. The main difference between this Emulsion and Lait-Creme Concentrate is that this product is made for moisturising and a long-lasting matt-effect, which is especially great for the oily skin. This cool gel emulsion really penetrates the skin, it’s enriched with apricot oil to tone and boost the skin, and also contains antioxidant vitamin E. It’s great to use it in the morning before applying your make-up, it leaves the skin very soft, smooth and perfectly matt right through the day. 4. Embryolisse Essential Dry Skin Balm* 15ml. | BUY HERE |
Embryolisse Baume Secours Essential Dry Skin Balm is another miracle coming to the SOS rescue for those with chronic dry, dehydrated and flaky skin. It is like a lip balm for the face (and lips if needed). It restores moisture instantly and I use it around the nasal labial folds, chin, forehead, etc. Shea Butter, Cotton Butter, Apricot Butter and essential fatty acids along with vitamins A and E invigorate the skin. This product is a tad bit shiny, so make sure you allow time for the skin to absorb this product and you can also blot with a tissue prior to applying other skincare or makeup.
