Hello December!

It’s finally my favourite time of the year, when streets are filled with Christmasy decorations and lights and everything is buzzing around International Christmas markets. But even though it’s winter already, the weather in Manchester lets us wear our coats unbuttoned! In this post I want to introduce you to the brand Quaint, that I’ve discovered recently and I fell in love with their coats from the very first sight.

With the huge influence of HM&Balmain collection, military jackets and coats are in the trend again, and we will see even more double-brested outerwear in the next couple of months. I love Quaint pieces for the mix of a great price (the coat I’m wearing costs only $ 265) and even better quality (it contains wool and silk). Plus, it’s a very practical thing, because you can unzip the asymmetric ‘skirt’ of the coat to make it a classy double-breasted jacket.

Good military-inspired style is about teaming hardy fabrics such as heavy cottons and waterproofs with silks, chiffons and soft merino wool. That’s why I decided to mix it with my fav mom-jeans by Cheap Monday and my new laced-up cotton shirt by Finery London. LyaLya bags always look good when worn with military pieces, so I didn’t even consider another option. I hope you like my outfit, let me know your opinion on military outerwear in the comments section.
