Hôtel Rochester Champs Elysées | Paris

This was my second trip to Paris and since I travelled with my good friend, Anna, who is a fab photographer, we knew that we want to stay somewhere near all key sightseeings and beautiful places  so we could make a lot of magical shots whilst our stay. The 4-star  Rochester Champs Elysées hotel seemed like a great choice.

The hotel is located just a few steps from the Champs Elysées and the rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré. It’s situated on the very quite street, so while we were there we never heard any noises from the busy streets around, plus we were really lucky, because our room overlooked  the hotel’s courtyard.

We opted for a Superior Room and during our stay I couldn’t stop thinking that it looks almost like Blair Waldorf bedroom in ‘Gossip Girl’ series. I loved the tones and hues used in the decor of the room, they added so much elegance and light to the whole atmosphere.

Each guest room at the Rochester Champs Elysees is decorated in Louis XV or contemporary style and features a flat-screen TV, a minibar and a desk. The same elegance and attention to detail has been paid throughout the hotel, from the patio adjoining the reception, with its marble fountain and wrought iron furniture, to the reception area boasting warm colour marquetries. The hotel absolutely charmed me with its warm setting and refined atmosphere.

It was really convenient that Metro Station Saint-Philippe-du-Roule is located opposite the hotel and provides direct access to the Eiffel Tower, even though most of the times we ubered around the city, sometimes we found it easier and faster to reach our hotel by metro.

If you feel like going the extra mile, go for one of the rooms on the 7th floor which offer magnificent views of the Eiffel Tower.
