L.A. VIBES IN LONDON

Kimono: Zara | Top: Topshop | Culottes: Zara | Bag: Cult Gaia | Shoes: Prof*

First of all, I need to tell that I almost screamed when we passed by this wall the other day in Deptford, it literally located 5 minutes walk from where we live and it’s probably one of my most favourite photoshoot locations at the moment, especially for summer outfits if you want to present them like you’d do in LA.

For this outfit, one of the recent features on Farfetch became my huge inspiration. It’s called ‘Crochet on the Catwalks and talks everything crochet including the ways it’s been presented on the catwalks and how to wear it now. You can find the article  here: https://www.farfetch.com/uk/style-guide/trends-subcultures/crochet-on-the-catwalks/

After this feature, I knew that I need something crochet for the summer, so I bought this top from Topshop, which is such a great quality and it looks much more expensive than it actually is. Plus, I also got the Self-Portrait dress but this you will see after I return from Madeira (going there tomorrow, already can’t wait!).

I wanted to build a summery, light, flowy and girly look, so I decided to play with the colours, which I started to do more and more recently. To be honest, I’m still in my safe zone, as I’m not a pro in a proper color-blocking, but I know that all colours look amazing with white or grey as a base colour. This kimono from Zara became a statement piece in this outfit and without it, the look would be quite boring, even with my lovely Cult Gaia bag.

I think I managed to replicate those LA vibes that are seen everywhere on Instagram. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below!
