The Magic Of Styling

Jacket: H&M | Skirt: Zara | Heels: River Island | Tee: Gucci | Bag: Louis Vuitton | Sunglasses: Celine

This would be probably one of the most casual outfits in my blog, apologies for this, but sometimes I feel that every blogger needs to get away from the bright trends and come back to the wardrobe staples that could be recreated using almost every girl’s wardrobe and pieces from other brands.

As you might already know, I am a huge fan of mixing high street with high end, I strongly disagree that bloggers shouldn’t wear Zara or River Island or even Primark, because they are bloggers and people expect them to wear the rare and new brands. I love buying and wearing luxe statement pieces, but almost 80% of my wardrobe are from high street stores and I do believe this is absolutely normal. Mixed with high-end accessories, high-street pieces look 10 times more expensive and interesting. When I got asked before where this or that item is from in 99% people wouldn’t believe that I’m wearing Topshop or Zara piece, I call it: the magic of styling (fairy dust falls from the sky).

How many times you saw people wearing expensive high-end brands from head to toe and looking like a total steal. It doesn’t matter how much the piece worth if you cannot wear it properly.

Apart from the bag, glasses and tee, everything in this look has been bought for under £20 per piece (I believe the jacket I bought for £10 during some of the mid-season sales) and in my opinion, these luxe and high street pieces mixed together creates an effortlessly stylish ensemble.
