Пусть с небольшой задержкой, но вот и обещанный в предыдущей части пост про нашу однодневную поездку в Ронду.
Как это часто со мной и бывает, планируя однодневные поездки в другие города, я всегда выбираю локацию в самый последний момент. Благо из центра Малаги путешествовать в соседние жемчужины Андалусии – легко и удобно. Выбирали мы из Марбельи, Севильи и еще из ряда городов, куда так же входила Ронда. Последнюю точку в выборе поставила случайность, буквально за пару дней до нашего отъезда, я наткнулась на прекрасные фотографии Ронды и отзывы туристов, тогда и поняла, что другого выбора и быть не может.

With a slight delay, but here is the post about our one-day trip to Ronda I promised to tell about in the previous part that you can read HERE.
As it often happens to me, when planning one-day trips to other cities, I always choose a location in the latest moment. Fortunately, it’s easy and convenient to travel from the center of Malaga to the neighboring pearls of Andalusia. We were choosing among Marbella, Sevilla and a number of some other cities, including Ronda. Our final choice was determined eventually, literally several days before our departure, I fell across some amazing photos of Ronda as well as tourists reviews and then I understood that a trip to some other city was out of the question.
В Малаге мы столкнулись с одной проблемой, только раз в сутки идет прямой поезд до Ронды, и только единожды можно вернуться обратно в центр без пересадок. Это сильно сократило время, которое мы хотели провести в Ронде, но так как город оказался не сильно большим, то мы успели посмотреть все, что хотели и даже пообедать в одном из местных ресторанов. Путешествие на поезде оказалось отличной идеей, так как огромные окна позволяют насладиться необычной природой Испании.

In Malaga we faced one problem: a straight train go to Ronda only once a day and only once a day you have an opportunity to return back to the center without any changes. This significantly reduced the time we planned to spend in Ronda, however, as the city turned out to be not really big, we managed to see all that we wanted and even had lunch at one of the local restaurants. The train travel was a brilliant idea, as the huge windows allowed to enjoy the view of the outstanding Spanish nature.
Ронда – это древний город Испании, буквально парящий в небесах. Город находится на высоте в 750м от уровня моря, и это прекрасно ощущается в хрустящем, чистом воздухе. У Ронды, беря во внимания ее возраст, огромная история, так например город считается колыбелью для корриды, и тут же можно посетить самую большую и древнюю арену для боя быков. Я убежденный противник всех развлечений, где по итогу страдают невинные животные, смотреть на арену даже не хотела, однако именно на этой арене был снят клип Мадонны.

Ronda is an ancient Spanish city literally hovering in the skies. The city is located 750 meters above the sea level and this greatly feels in the crisp and clean air. Ronda, taking into consideration its impressive age, has an exciting history, for example, it is regarded as the birthplace of bullfighting, and here one can visit an ancient bullring. As I am a staunch opponent of all entertainments, that cause innocent animals to suffer, I didn’t even want to visit this arena, although some time ago Madonna’s video was shot in here.

Однако, визитной карточкой Ронды считается даже отнюдь не арена для быков, а место, которое привлекает туристов со всего света красотой своих пейзажей – Puente Nuevo (в переводе означает Новый Мост). Он построен в самом узком, но одновременно и самом глубоком (98 метров) месте ущелья. Величественное архитектурное сооружение строилось в период с 1755 по 1793 год. И конечно же, такое место должна окружать легенда – считают что, архитектор, руководивший постройкой моста, разбился насмерть, проверяя качество выполненных работ.

However, the bullring is not the only one main architectural landmark, but the place that attracts tourists from all over the world with the beauty of its landscapes – Puente Nuevo (which is translated as New Bridge). It was built in the narrowest and at the same time the deepest (98 meters) place of the gorge. This magnificent architectural construction was being built during 1755 and 1793 years. Needless to say, this place is surrounded by the number of legends. For example, it’s believed that the architect, who was in charge of the construction works of the bridge, died checking the quality of the finished work.
Чтобы посмотреть на мост со стороны, мы направились на специальный трек, по которому можно спуститься достаточно низко, что бы снять мост у самого его подножья (к сожалению, на фотографиях сверху и непосредственно с самого моста, было трудно рассмотреть замурованные окна тюрьмы, водопад и оценить общий масштаб знаменитой постройки). В одном месте трек расходился на две разные тропинки, одна была достаточно легкой, но вид на мост получался сбоку, мне же хотелось посмотреть на него спереди (как на всех знаменитых фотографиях моста), поэтому после долгих уговоров, повела своего молодого человека по гораздо более сложной дороге. Сложна она тем, что там было множество крутых поворотов и достаточно резкий спуск вниз и отсутствие какой-либо опоры, которая может помочь при падении или в принципе при спуске.
Всем любителям пощекотать свои нервишки советую надевать самую удобную обувь. Жара в тот день стояла невыносимая, и находясь в городе который на 750м ближе к солнцу, можно было физически почувствовать насколько сильно обжигает воздух, поэтому при спуске мы то и дело останавливались под деревьями, чтобы выпить воды и хоть немного остыть в тени. Спуск у нас занял около 25-30 минут. Добравшись до маленького пяточка, с которого отрывался безупречный вид на мост, я не могла поверить в свою удачу оказаться в таком потрясающем месте. Уходить оттуда совсем не хотелось, мы наблюдали как птицы залетают в водопад, как крошечные силуэты людей любуются видами, открывающимися с моста, где-то там наверху. Это одно из самых изумительных мест на Земле, без сомнений.

To take a look at the bridge from the side, we wended our way to the special track, that led almost to the bottom of the gorge to take a picture of the bridge at its base (unfortunately, it was difficult to observe the immured windows of the jail, waterfall and the overall scale of the famous construction on the photos taken from above and directly from the bridge). In one place the track spited into two different paths, one was easy enough, but the bridge could be seen only from the side, I wanted to see it from the front (as on all famous photos of Puente Nuevo). For this reason after much pleading, led my boyfriend on a more difficult path. It’s difficult because of the plenty abrupt turns and a sharp slope and the lack of any hold that could support when falling or descending in principle.
For those who like to live on the edge I recommend to wear the most convenient footwear. The heat on that day was unbearable, and being in the city which is about 750 meters closer to the Sun, one could for sure feel how strong burns the heated air, that’s why while descending from time to time we hid in the shades of the trees, to drink some water or to take a break and cool down. It took us almost 25-30 minutes to descend. Having reached the point from which opened a splendid view on the bridge, I couldn’t believe my fortune to appear at such an amazing place. We didn’t want to leave it at all and watched the birds flying in the waterfall, and the tiny silhouettes of people enjoying the views opening from the bridge, somewhere above. This without doubt is one of the most impressive places on the Earth.

После того, как мы перевели дыхание уже взобравшись обратно в город, мы по рекомендациям коллеги моего МЧ направились пообедать в один из местных Tapas Bar’ов. Коллега не обманул, и мы действительно были в восторге от интересных закусок, которые включали в себя мини пиццы с козьим сыром и яблочным джемом, мини хот-доги с начос и многое многое другое.

After returning back to the city and taking a break, we, upon the recommendation of the colleague of my boyfriend, decided to have dinner at one of the local Tapas Bars. The colleague didn’t let us down, and we really enjoyed unusual starters, that included mini-pizzas with goat cheese and apple jam, mini hotdogs with nachos and much more.
Подкрепившись, мы без спешки направились на станцию, решив пройти через прекрасные сады Alemeda, с которых открываются безупречные виды с города. Особую атмосферу придавала живая игра на арфе.

After having a snack we slowly went to the station, making our way through amazing Alemeda gardens, where we could enjoy the splendid views. Live harp music created a special atmosphere.
Ронда в моей памяти навсегда останется каким-то сказочным местом, где смешиваются традиции и культуры, манящим и мистическим городом, парящий над пропастью в буквальном смысле!
