Safari Chic

Safari in the city

If there’s any trend that’s back with a vengeance to inspire our summer 2018 wardrobes, it’s undoubtedly safari inspired fashion. Did it ever go away, though? I don’t think so, it just constantly progresses and every season we see a new take on it.

This season apart from earthy tones, safari pieces feature earthy materials as well, like real ropes, linen and a lot of rough cotton. The materials that you will be make you feel comfortable even in the most unbearable heat (like we’ve experienced during this bank holiday weekend).

Old & New

http://bit.ly/2IpqxoEIn this look I’m wearing some of my old and new favourites. Like these trousers from H&M that are the most unflattering but also the most comfortable and baggiest pants I have in my wardrobe. They come in two shades and now I regret I haven’t bought them in both of the colours, as I can see myself wearing them very often during this Summer with bikini tops and white shirts.

The Heidi Klein espadrilles that I got last September and travelled to Marrakech with. Luckily, they are still in stock along with some new models and I will show you another pair that I got quite recently very soon.

Aspinal bag that just works with all earthy toned looks and is a perfect final touch. I simply love that combination of ivory and brown because it’s so wearable.

The top and jacket are both from Zara and were a part of my very impulsive purchase that I won’t be regretting about (surprisingly). The crochet top is just a perfect Summer piece that I’m sure I will be waring over and over again with cargo pieces and vintage blue denim.
