THE PRODUCTS I’VE TRIED | SEPTEMBER 2016

Finally, here is my list of the products that I got to try in September and fell in love with.

This time, it was a great mix of haircare, skincare and make-up products. Some of the brands, such as Neal&Wolf, were new to me, some I already love religiously.

Ever since trying the Jurlique Nutri-Define Rejuvenating Overnight Cream I knew that the brand was going to be one of my favourites. I got sent a few products to try and I have been really impressed with their skincare.

An Ultra Rich Cleanser is a perfect blend of botanicals  that gently exfoliate and help protect skin against environmental aggressors. I loved the creamy soufflé formula that really gently cleanse all of the impurities while potent, anti-ageing ingredients help strengthen and smooth the skin.

Neal & Wolf Shampoo £12.95 | Conditioner £12.95 | Blow-dry balm £12.95 | Heat Protection £12.95

This September I have had the pleasure of discovering luxury hair products from Neal and Wolf. If you haven’t yet discovered them, it is an absolute must. I don’t think I could rate the products any higher!

Neal and Wolf are a luxury haircare brand with products developed for both home and professional use. They have a range of only 10 items, but each has been carefully developed to meet all haircare needs.

Their shampoo works like any other shampoo but stands out from the crowd due to its heavenly scent and how healthy it leaves your hair feeling after rinsing. Quite often my hair feels dry and quite brittle after shampooing, but this Cleansing Shampoo looked after my hair in a gentle and caring manner.

I’ve noticed that it doesn’t foam much, and for me, it’s a sign that the product is not packed with nasty sulphates.

Their conditioner works better than any hair mask I currently own. I left if for a couple of minutes and it gave my hair an amazing smoothness and shine.

Blow-dry balm really helped to reduce the frizz that I usually get right after I wash my hair.

Kryolan ‘Illusion’ Cream Highlighter | Shades ‘Cashmere’ & ‘Silk’ RRP £ 14.50

Kryolan has probably been the most amazing makeup brand that I discovered in September.

I got sent two shades of their new cream highlighter, called Illusion. I’ve never tried cream highlighters before, because I was sure that they would be too much for my combination skin, however, now I can’t live without these ‘little pots of luminosity’!

Here you can see my before & after photos using Illusion highlighter in ‘Silk’

Whilst ‘Silk’ is the brightest and the whitest highlighter from their range, the ‘Cashmere’ has a beautiful golden undertone and it fits day makeup perfectly.

Easily applied and blended onto the skin using a brush, fingers or a sponge, Illusion gives skin an amazing shine when applied to cheek bones, lips and other parts of the body.

Designed to supercharge your skin care ritual, Oxygen Booster can be applied directly to just-cleansed complexions before serum, or added to your favourite daily hydrator to ‘boost’ its benefits. The perfect way to tailor your routine to your skin’s changing needs, this oxygen-rich elixir feels featherweight and instantly refreshing – cooling upon application to breathe new life into fatigued, lacklustre skin types.

With Omorovicza’s signature Hydro Mineral Transference delivery system, the cocktail of nasturtium-derived polysaccharides, regenerating swertia chirata extract and hyaluronic acid penetrates deeply to kick-start repair and renewal, while liquid oxygen and oxygen accelerators combine to stimulate regeneration and restore a youthful glow.
