Velvet Obsession

As you might already know I’m such a sucker for velvet, this trend won’t leave my wardrobe for the next couple of season; I can foresee this. I have just bought another velvet dress in a dusty pink color, so expect to see some doll-ish vibes from me in the next couple of posts.

For me velvet is still pretty much evening fabric, I don’t tend to wear velvet in any of my daytime looks, but I think it’s so appealing and even mysterious when worn for night outs.

I love how velvet looks in deep colors: red, blue, green, black, and in blazers. Velvet blazers? Now THAT is something that will always look incredibly cool. What could be better, than Velvet blazers? Velvet suit, of course. I’m obsessed with mine from Dorothy Perkins new collection; I believe it’s such a great option for parties, especially when it’s mixed with metallic fabrics and silver or gold (or both, like in my look).

Links of London ‘Amulet’ bracelet is my new crush: I love how simplistic, but yet elegant it looks and it looks amazing with charms of without. The one that I’m wearing in these photos is made of 18kr Rose Gold and features ‘Amulet Ruler Of Heart’ charm, which is inspired by the heart-topped crown worn by Queen Victoria – together they make a perfect Christmas gift.

What do you think about velvet suits? Do you own one already? What are you thoughts on that fabric?
