For Day 2 of London Fashion Week, my very good friend Patricia and I decided to wear matchy outfits. We’ve discovered the brand called AAlexandr London – it is a young, energetic studio with a distinct vision of female fashion and a wide selection of looks.
Their jacquard pyjamas instantly caught our attention, they look very elegant and are a perfect example how casual nightwear can be turned into stunning occasionwear. Boudoir Elegance looks amazing as a part of an effortless daytime look, worn with backless loafers or statement sneakers and it’s easy to transition that set to be ready for a night out.
The key is to aim for a stylish luxe, not lazy loungewear follow these easy tips:
- To avoid looking like you’ve just rolled out of bed, stay away from cotton fabrics. Instead, go for soft silks, shiny satin shirts or jacquard.
- When choosing shirts, look for distinguishable pyjama details – we’re talking side piping, an open neckline and loose sleeves.
- Play with proportions to add more interest to your outfit. An oversized pyjama inspired shirt and skinny jeans are a match made in heaven.
