Where I Look For Inspiration

*In collaboration with Dorothy Perkins.

Inspiration is a tough thing, it comes and goes and only rarely it stays. I have many sources of inspiration for different aspects of my life and I will share them with you today.

Social Media

There might be tonnes of articles out there on how Social Media ruins our perception of reality, every time I see accounts with people enjoying their life, travelling, exploring, looking at their absolutely best – it gives me the motivation to work harder in order to afford this lifestyle.

Social Media also is a source of the ultimate fashion inspiration for me, I follow so many great bloggers and style accounts – I always know what I want to wear tomorrow just because my feed is overflooded with the greatest outfit ideas.

Books

This might be the most popular source of inspiration, but this is a reality. Unfortunately, nowadays I don’t read as much as I did in my school years, however, I am grateful to every book I ever read,¬†because every single book has provoked so many questions in my head and the answers usually inspired me to make certain steps in my life towards my dreams.

Locations

Different locations inspire me to try on different looks. Usually, different locations have absolutely different vibes, and this is what inspires me the most. Every time we are travelling somewhere, I feel myself like a completely different person, I dress differently and I act differently. Also, knowing more about other cultures makes me inspired to explore the world more. I believe we leave a piece of ourselves everywhere we go, as even today I can recall some detailed moments from our past trips and I can go back to some narrow streets of Rome or Paris and take a walk there. Memories are one of the most exciting things about human beings, sometimes they are too tangible and present.

Sound

The sound of a sea, first notes of my favourite song – these things are always inspiring. I’m emotionally connected to every song that I love, and I always use music, as a key to a certain mood for a creative process.
