Winter Wonderland With Farfetch

#FarfetchFind event

Hello my dear ones, I hope you all had an amazing Christmas break and now are fully recovered from the never ending food comas and social gatherings.

Today I want to take you back in time to share some of my memories about the day I spent with Farfetch in December. As you already know, in the past I’ve been so lucky to attend a couple of events organised by Farfetch, and every single of these events still holds a special place in my heart. And I’m surely not exaggerating here, they once took me to the heli trip above London!

So when I received an invitation to spend a day outside London with them and so the itinerary, I was uber excited!

Wake up call was at 6am to get ready, then 1 hour drive from London and we found ourselves in the outskirts of London, in the beautiful wild nature at the most amazing mansion with the breathtaking view. The trendiest pieces of the season were laying around the penthouse, ready to be played with during our upcoming photoshoots.

But first, we were taken to our 1st activity of the day… bouquet making masterclass!

After we all made our big and beautiful bouquets, it was the time to get creative and totally loose ourselves in the wardrobe of our partywear dreams. Like it was the last day on Earth, I opted for the sparkliest of all, to say that my party look was extra is to say nothing at all. Sometimes I even think that there is an alter ego hiding in my unconsciousness and she only shows herself to the world when sparkly things are around.

So I let that Disco Lola beast out and ended up wearing the Anine Bing silver blazer, ByTimo red pants (because if it’s not the sparkliest, then the brightest will work for Disco Lola too), the dreamiest and (surprisingly) comfiest Jimmy Choo heels and of course, the hero of the look – Gucci sunglasses.

For your convenience, I linked full outfit below…

When the shoot was over and we’ve all chatted over the most delicious lunch, we’ve been asked to change to wellies. We took a short trip in Landrover cars to the forest on the other side of the mansion. The nature there really reminded me about my childhood and all the years I spent in our Latvian summer house in the woods. It was so nice to dive in my memories and just close the eyes and feel myself surrounded by wild nature with all it’s sounds and smells. Unfortunately, since we moved to the UK, we don’t get to spend a lot of time in the nature and this is something I’m really keen to change in 2019.

Watching the sunset over the lake sipping mulled wine was truly one of my 2018’s highlights.

When we came back to the mansion, it was the time for the most magical and festive activity – gifts unpacking. You could feel the excitement in the air, even thought we got a chance to preselect our #FarfetchFind gifts, it still felt like the biggest reveal of the evening. I got my baby Yuzefi bag, which I already wore almost every day in Dubai and I believe it will be my go-to bag for the Spring/Summer ’19.

I want to thank Farfetch and it’s amazing team for organising everything and making that day so special for us. Thank you for the attention and care we got throughout the day, for the beautiful gifts, but what is more important – the memories that will stay with us forever.
