Blending In Lisbon

City of Blue Tiles

Our trip to Lisbon was most likely one of our most spontaneous trips ever. We booked the tickets less than a month in advance (never happened to us before) and were really excited to explore one of the main cities of Portugal (previously, we only visited Madeira, but of course it was something completely different). In my head, I was painting all these beautiful setups with the blue&white tiles and co-ordinated looks and couldn’t wait to taste the real pasteis de nata.

We were so blessed to stay for a couple of nights at one of the most iconic places of Lisbon; Palacio Belmonte. I will tell you about our experience there in my upcoming dedicated post to it, but I can say already that mansion was so unique, it exceeded any of my expectations, and we had so much fun shooting there, surrounded by the tiles from the 18th century and some very recent art installations.

Of course, when coming to the land of my favourite PROF shoes, I just had to check their stores and see the new collection finally. I ended up leaving the country with two more pairs of shoes from their S/S19 collection that just stole my heart and space in my suitcase. One of the pairs that I got, you can see in this post; Beautiful sky blue stiletto pumps in suede with beautiful metallic detail on the toe. The colour was so perfect for the looks I planned and it was also quite symbolic to get them in Lisbon. As always, even considering the height of the heel, they are super comfortable and perfect for the daily look or something more cocktail/formal. You can check the full collection (here).
