Look Fantastic Beauty Box/ January 2015

As you already know, I was really disappointed with December LookFantastic box, as it didn’t meet my expectations regarding selection of the brands and products that are perfect for festive season. However, I didn’t tell that I won’t order their next box, as I’ve seen that many people left really bad feedbacks on LF website, so I assumed  LF team will try hard to win back the loyalty of their customers. And I was so right..

This month LF box was just perfect for me and for many others girls, who love beauty boxes as much as I do. I’ve received brands that I really wanted to try, such as Nuxe and Phillip Kinglsey. You still have time left to order your January box online, unlike other beauty boxes brands – there is no subscription scheme on Lookfantastic, so it’s always only your choice whether to buy next box or not 🙂

I already knew this brand and I always loved Molton Brown products for their amazing smell and affordability. From two possible choices, I’ve received the one with the smell of Templetree, which seemed very exotic to me. An amazing body wash that makes you feel refreshed and it honestly smells divine. Great to use in the mornings to wake yourself up. After couple of uses I felt that my skin is getting softer and is super-duper clean.

I was really delighted to see this product in my box, as I ran out of my GHD Damage Defence spray and was totally in a mood to try something new, as for me it’s too boring to stick with just one product, when there are so many different options out there. I heard a lot about Philip Kingsley brand before, so I knew this is  kind of a brand that you can easily come across in many high-street salons, and that it’s also not cheap. I’ve used it for 4 or 5 times now, and I’m planning to buy a full-size. It really does what it says: detangles my hair perfectly and removes static, while protecting from any environmental or styling damages.

Everyone was so excited to find this full-sized Nuxe mask in their boxes this month, I wasn’t an exception, because this mask’s price has beaten the price of the whole box. I’ve used this mask few times this year and it always gives such a boost of hydration and smoothness to the skin that is almost magical. Especially, it’s fantastic to use this mask before make up, as it leaves skin so radiant and polished.

The mask hydrates, soothes the skin and instantly reduces discomfort or redness with its skin loving ingredients such as 8 plant milks, aloe vera sap, almond and orange white flowers, all of which are abundant within the lovely fragrance of this mask.

Goldwell is the second haircare brand in this box, that is constantly used and advised by many professional stylists and is easy to find in many high-street salons. I’ve not used any products from this brand before, so I was happy that my first product from this brand will be 60-second treatment, as it was exactly what I needed the most after partying season and really bad weather.

I have had coloured hair for a long time now, I almost don’t remember how my natural colour really looks like, the one thing I remember – it was boring, I decided that at the age of 14. Since then I colour my hair every month or two, so it’s hard to count how many times I’ve coloured my hair, considering the fact that now I’m 20. They are still in a very good condition, however, the only problem that I have is the colour that fades quite fast. This mask is supposed to help you to keep the colour vibrant and new, but it does even more – the hair gets silkier and more manageable right after first use.

This is perfect for a quick pick me up when your hair needs an extra boost and a little restoration.

Within this month’s box is a tube of Vitamin C Effervescent dissolvable tablets containing 1000mg of Vitamin C. These tablets are available in two fruity flavours raspberry and natural orange. You simply pop one tablet into a glass water for a great tasting drink which is easy to consume.
