Give a fashion blogger a retro car, and she will know what to do with it. As you already know, I’m obsessed with old cars that are in the perfect condition. When you live in London you pass by the most amazing retro gems almost everyday, but I just hate taking pictures next to someone else property without asking a permission to do this. This time was different, as I got a permission to even take photos from the inside and I’m just in love with all the shots that we took. This ‘Pobeda’ car is a legend of Soviet automobile manufacturing, which was whispered about far outside the territory of the Soviet Union. The quality of this car was highly appreciated by experts from around the world. At that time it was a really fancy car and it still looks very presentable and glamorous.
This wasn’t an ordinary shoot, so I wanted my outfit to be retro but with the modern twist, so I went for a safe gingham & Cobain sunglasses combo. This is also the first time I’m wearing something by the new brand called Whole9Yards. I’m sure you will hear more about them in the near future, as their designs are truly gorgeous.
