September’s Beauty Hits

Oh, it feels good to get back to these monthly edits, I apologise that I didn’t have enough time for this kind of posts in the previous months. Even though September is not over yet, I have decided to make this round-up of my beauty faves a bit earlier, cause I will be travelling to Marrakech next week and I am pretty sure, I won’t be testing any new products until the end of this month.

This round-up will be short but worth-reading, you will find my new favourite beauty supplement, highlighter, body lotion and new skin care launches to die for.

1. Fresh Vitamin Nectar Moisture Glow Face Cream, 50ml | RRP £39 | BUY HERE

It wouldn’t be my beauty faves round-up without at least one Fresh product. I need to underline that I’m not sponsored by them and I’m not paid to write about the brand, I just truly love it and believe in it. Almost every Fresh product I’ve tried so far made me fall in love with it, no jokes, they might be a bit pricey, but you will never regret your purchase.  They are considered an expert in facial masks and I need to admit that their masks are a true magic in the jars.

One year ago I wrote a review on their Vitamin Nectar mask that you can read HERE. It was my very first Fresh product and back then I didn’t know how much the brand will actually change my skincare regime. So one year later Fresh has launched Vitamin Nectar facial cream which is a logical extension to the Vitamin Nectar range.

Compared to the funny formula of the mask from the same range, the facial cream has an ordinary texture, it’s just a cream, without any bits or anything extra in it. However, it smells similarly delicious, you can definitely feel the notes of citruses and other fruits in it. It’s infused with a vitamin fruit complex that helps to awaken your skin and prepare it for a day. I always use it in the morning, for me – this is one of the best moisturising creams out there. It instantly gives that moisture boost to your skin and make up glides perfectly on top of it.

2. Sisley Sisleya L’integral Anti-Ageing Eye And Lip Contour Cream, 15ml | RRP £125 | BUY HERE

After many years of researching and testing Sisleya has presented new lip & eye contour cream and it’s just insanely good. The cream comes with a massage roller to use under eyes before applying the cream.

To preserve the beauty of these delicate areas, Sisleÿa L’Intégral Anti-Âge Eye and lip contour cream’s new formula works simultaneously on the main concerns for the eye contour area: wrinkles and lack of firmness on the one hand, and puffiness and dark circles on the other hand.

It also acts against dehydration in the lip contour area, reducing unsightly wrinkles and fine lines.

3. Sisley Paris Instant Eclat, 30ml | RRP £57 | BUY HERE

I had sworn off makeup primers. They are great in theory because they’re supposed to smooth out skin for the easy application of foundation or tinted moisturizer, and they’re supposed to keep your makeup in place all day long. But I’ve found that a lot of primers have too much of a slippery consistency and make my oily skin look way too greasy—which is not cute at all.

But I’ve always been a fan of Sisley Paris, and when I heard the brand was coming out with a new primer, I decided to give it a try. The verdict: My life has been changed. This is officially the best makeup primer I’ve ever used.

The consistency is creamy and almost velvet-like; it goes on super soft and blends into the skin extremely well. The primer also has a slight shimmer that gives you an added glow to your complexion. I’ve found that even under foundation, that simmer still shines through. Oftentimes I don’t need to add highlighter to get that dewy look, but I’ll add it if I want to look extra glossy.

4. Crabtree & Evelyn Goatmilk & Oat Soothing Body Lotion, 250ml | RRP £19 | BUY HERE

Let me first start this review by saying I have looked literally everywhere for a lotion that not only works well with my ultra sensitive/combination skin but also is fairly chemical free. This Crabtree & Evelyn Goatmilk Body Lotion is very lightweight, but moisturising. It doesn’t leave a sticky residue and doesn’t leave your skin itchy. Spilling over with nourishing skin-caring ingredients beloved by the ancient Egyptians, it slicks skin with nourishing Goatmilk, Oat Kernel and Vitamin E, to calm, soften and soothe reactive and delicate skins.

5. OMONO Skincare Drink, 30 sachets | RRP $74.99 | BUY HERE

Some of you already know that I’m obsessed with Japanese & Korean skincare products. It’s a known fact that all of the European skincare innovations have been in Japan for ages already. This is why I was so excited to try OMONO, the brand that has just been awarded the 2017 Glamour Magazine Editor’s Choice for top beauty drinks, being described by the magazine as “an elixir of eternal youth”.

It’s very depressing, but our skin starts aging as early as our mid-20s. It loses its inner beauty and natural glow drastically at 1.5-2% per year due to rapid depletion of skin nutrients. As a result, a woman’s skin inevitably becomes lifeless, dehydrated, inelastic, and wrinkled. OMONO is a scientifically-proven and result-driven skin-renewing, radiance and youth-enhancing powder drink from Japan that nourishes, revitalizes, hydrates, and renews every inch of the skin from deep inside the core through a revolutionary all-round approach.

Apart from collagen, the formula also contains Astaxanthin, which is the most powerful antioxidant in the world. You can add the powder to any drink of yours!

I have been drinking 1 sachet/day for a week already and I can tell that my skin has started glowing from inside. Of course, it’s not a magic bullet for all your skin problems, you still need to maintain the healthy lifestyle and diet + have a skincare regime that fits your needs, but this drink will definitely make the results of your efforts more visible in a long run.
